The Contact Company is proud to announce that it will be one of the contact centres across the UK ready and waiting this Friday 15th to take donation calls for Red Nose Day 2019!

This will be the third time The Contact Company has supported the donation lines for this fantastic cause, and all volunteers are looking forward to another wonderful evening of fun and giving back, providing fantastic service to all of the kind individuals wanting to donate. There will be competitions and activities held throughout the night, and lots of food and drink provided to our volunteers.

The annual Red Nose Day telethon was established in 1988 by Comedian Lenny Henry and comedy script writer Richard Curtis in response to famine in Ethiopia. With its mission to ‘drive positive change through the power of entertainment’, Red Nose Day is embedded in British popular culture and is an extremely successful charity event, with the money it raises being used to tackle inequality and bring about lasting change across the UK and worldwide.

The Contact Company’s CEO, Asif Hamid MBE: “We are delighted to be taking donation calls for Red Nose Day for the third time and to have the opportunity to support such a worthy cause. With over 150 volunteers expected across the evening, we’re looking forward to an evening of fun, festivities and food! Helping support worthy causes within the UK and internationally is something that we are passionate about at The Contact Company, and it’s fantastic that all of our colleagues and friends have the chance to do something really practical to show their support of this amazing charity.”

If you would like to support this brilliant event, please visit the Red Nose Day website, or call on the night… perhaps you’ll be speaking to one of The Contact Company’s lovely volunteers!
