Trevor Leeks has been appointed to the position of Operations Director, Jaguar Land Rover Halewood Operations. Trevor replaces Stuart Lord who recently elected to leave the business.

Trevor, who is originally from Essex and married with two children, started his career at Ford Motor Company on the assembly line in production and was the first Group Leader at Dagenham Engine Plant. After 22 years with Ford he moved to the North West, working for BAE Systems near Preston as Head of Business.

He joined Jaguar Land Rover in Powertrain Operations in 2012 where he was part of the senior leadership team that launched the Engine Manufacturing Centre (EMC) in 2014. He moves to Halewood from the role of Operations Director at the EMC plant in Wolverhampton.

Trevor said: “I am really excited to be joining JLR Halewood – the plant and its employees have a great history and reputation both in JLR and in the local community and I am so proud to be given the chance to be a part of Halewood’s future. We have two fantastic products in the Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport and I am passionate about focussing on the growth and development of people. With a workforce at their best, building quality cars, I am confident Halewood can be the benchmark for excellence.”
