This week saw local dignitaries, employers, schools and press join Knowsley Community College for the launch of its brand new £32 million campus.

The event, which included live music and catering from KCC students, as well as tours of the new facilities, was a chance to show how the College has been transformed, as Principal Anne Pryer explains;

The new campus has been designed not only with the student in mind, but also to address local priorities, employer’s needs and to raise the profile of Knowsley Borough.”

‘The move to our new campus was a chance to change the way we looked at learning. Our mission is to enable our students and the communities we serve to aspire and achieve. We wanted to offer a unique experience to our students, both through the state of the art facilities that they have access to, but also through the opportunities that are open to them, thanks to our partnerships with major brands including MD Productions and Lee Stafford.

This launch event follOws the official opening ceremony, in which the Rt Hon. George Howarth MP, announced the doors to the College officially open.
