The Liverpool City Region Visitor Economy is now worth over £4bn a year, so it is more important than ever for companies that rely on tourism to grow and develop.

One of the best ways for this to happen is through quality training courses. The Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is working in partnership with Tourism Growth Ltd to introduce a new series of training courses during 2017 – and into 2018.

The courses cover topics such as converting enquiries into sales, managing your reputation online, boosting your sales on social media and improving productivity and performance. Tourism Growth also design and deliver training and development programmes in-house for individual tourism businesses.

Peter Sandman, Head of Visitor Economy at Liverpool City Region LEP, said: “We’ve worked with Tourism Growth on many occasions to support training and business coaching programmes in the Liverpool City Region – and each time the feedback from the participating tourism businesses has been excellent.

“They really have a great track record in helping employers to improve sales and profits – and to successfully grow their operations.

“I would encourage as many tourism businesses as possible to take advantage of the opportunity and to register for these events.”

Paul Hickey, Managing Director, Tourism Growth Ltd, said “We’re delighted to be working in partnership once again with the Liverpool City Region LEP and Visit Liverpool – and to welcome tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses from across the City Region onto our courses in Liverpool.”
