The Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) annual conference will take place this Spring at ACC Liverpool.

Hosted by broadcaster and Political Editor at ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Ranvir Singh, the inaugural event on Tuesday 8 May will be one of the highlights of the business calendar.

The conference will bring together up to 200 of the region’s key businesses from across the public and private sector and will address the business opportunities and challenges facing the city region. There will be a selection of panellists discussing entrepreneurship and future proofing along with an exhibitor showcase of local businesses.

Asif Hamid MBE, Chair of the LEP said: “The City Region is at an exciting stage in its regeneration and this, our first annual conference, provides a great opportunity to discuss key issues and showcase the future opportunities that can accelerate our growth. The conference is free to attend and will allow key stakeholders and all those interested in the City Region to network, debate and hear first-hand from significant key note speakers and panellists. The exhibition side will provide a showcase for local businesses and a great networking space for delegates and the whole event will be hosted by renowned national broadcaster Ranvir Singh. It should be a landmark event for the City Region and I encourage everyone interested in taking part to register as soon as possible.”

Main sponsor, Nigel Cooper, Area Business Manager for Barclays in Liverpool said: “Barclays is delighted to support the Liverpool City Region LEP’s annual conference this year. Being future ready is a must for any business and we look forward to sharing some of the challenges and opportunities new technology is posing in the world of banking.”
