St Helens-based DriverNet, has won this year’s highly contested Merseyside Innovation Awards (MIA), hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa, Liverpool.
Since 1996, the awards have recognised and rewarded companies and individuals in Merseyside who use creativity to fuel growth and profitability. The awards aim to help them turn great ideas into great businesses and contribute towards the region’s economic development.
After deliberation from the expert panel of prominent Merseyside business leaders from across the commercial spectrum, including Rachel Clacher – Moneypenny, Dr Paul Colbon – Liverpool Chirochem and Keith O’Connor – Fleetsolve Ltd, DriverNet won first Prize and received £10,000 cash. The Judges commended the company’s innovation, research and commercial capabilities.
The mobile workforce management platform connects mobile operatives, on site management and clients together via mobile apps, web portals and SMS messaging. Removing the need for paper based systems and manual operations.
Founded in 2016, DriverNet was established to provide a swifter, more sustainable and safer mobile workforce operating systems. Since its inception, the company has gone from strength to strength with their mobile workforce management platform.

Runners-up finalists included PIN IoT and ORCHA. Both finalists won a cash prize of £2,500.
