Monday 5 February saw the launch of ‘Visitor Economy Week’ at Anfield Stadium – where students across the city region will be able to sample for themselves what life would be like working in the tourism industry.

‘Visitor Economy Week’, sponsored by The Apprenticeship Hub, runs until 8 February offering secondary school pupils taster sessions covering hospitality, retail, tourism and travel.

Speaking at the event, Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram, pledged to make Liverpool City Region the third most visited UK destination after London and Edinburgh. Read more here.
