Regional Growth Fund This programme is now closed In 2012 the LEP secured £15million Government Regional Growth Fund (RGF) to operate the Business Growth Grant alongside its Local Authority partners. The fund was established to support local businesses and deliver jobs across the City Region. The Programme has: Created or safeguarded 2,016 jobs Supported 122 businesses The programme was delivered by the six Liverpool City Region Local Authorities (Liverpool, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral) who also determined the allocation of individual grants to businesses.
