Join us on the 17th July for this breakfast event to hear how North West employers can benefit from expanding their recruitment search to include those with disabilities or health conditions and others returning to work after experiencing life-changing events.

Recruiting the right people for your business can be a time-consuming and costly task. With unemployment at record lows it can be difficult to find high-quality candidates that tick all the right boxes.

But opening your doors to a wider pool of talent can change all that. According to the Government’s Disability Confident campaign, over half of workplaces are missing out because they are excluding disabled talent. And with 1 in 5 people of working age experiencing some kind of impairment, savvy employers are ensuring they reach into this group of jobseekers.

You can discover a new way to hire through the Government’s Work and Health Programme, delivered in the North West by Ingeus. A fully-funded service that connects local employers with local talent. You can also learn about making your organisation more accessible and attractive to people seeking work through the Disability Confident campaign, and how to manage mental health in the workplace. But don't take our word for it as employers will be sharing their own experiences and the benefits it has brought – both from an operational and employee morale point of view.
