Liverpool is already a leading innovator in children’s health and this two day event will build upon the wealth of expertise in the region.

The event will engage local residents, researchers and students from regional, national and international partners, universities and innovators from the world of technology and business.

If you want to know what to expect, here is the footage of the event we held last year MIT Hacking Children’s Health in November 2015

Future Fest will bring together 150 – 200 participants from different professions to solve (or hack) health and wellbeing problems. Challenges will be pitched by residents, clinicians, gardeners, healthcare professionals, patients and parents and participants will form teams to find a solution to one of these challenges. The teams then pitch their solutions to panel of judges, and they will mark the solutions on their commercial viability.

The event will be held over the 21st and 22nd September 2016 the event will be held in the park itself (weather permitting) and will have a festival theme, so bring waterproofs, picnic blankets, sun-cream or wellies dependent on the day.

Don’t worry if you have never been to an event like this before - our expert facilitators and helpers are there to guide you through the two days activity.
