Liverpool Hope is the third highest ranked modern university in the country and one of two Liverpool-based universities within the top 50 in the UK (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017). With more than £50million spent between 2008 and 2014, and the completion of our £14.47 million Science and Sport development in October 2016, the university continues to invest in its students, its cutting edge research, and in the region as a whole. In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, more than a third of research carried out at the university was rated as 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent'. In October 2016 Liverpool Hope announced an official research partnership with Everton FC. The University’s research and analysis will support the Club to further develop its knowledge in corporate and performance spheres, technology development and governance. Liverpool Hope is ranked 2nd in the UK for teaching excellence (Times Good University Guide 2017) and top in the North West for student satisfaction (National Student Survey 2016). Our high post-graduation employability rate of 96.2% is above the UK average of 93.9%, placing the University 2nd in the North West and 9th in the UK for the percentage of University graduates in employment or further education six months after graduating in 2015 (Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and The Times Higher Education). These figures reflect our commitment to helping students develop into rounded and employable graduates, ready to take their place confidently as global citizens. International in our outlook, we work in partnership with universities in countries including China, India and the USA, and continue to attract high calibre scholars and students from around the world. Our beautiful campuses are the venue for large international conferences throughout the year, while our on-site Capstone Theatre attracts world-class performers. Our dedicated conferencing and events team can advise on making the most out of our top class facilities. In 2016 Liverpool Hope University and l’Université Catholique de Lille announced plans to form a strategic alliance around teaching and research and the creation of a European Institute.
